报告题目： Quantification of vegetation properties from remotely sensed data at leaf and canopy scales
报告人介绍： Dr. Tao Cheng is a postdoctoral scholar in the Center for Spatial Technologies and Remote Sensing (CSTARS) laboratory at the University of California, Davis. He obtained his PhD from University of Alberta in Canada in 2010. His research is focused on the characterization of ecosystem composition and processes using remote sensing techniques. He is particularly interested in integrating a signal processing tool called continuous wavelet transform with spectral analysis and developing advanced methodologies for quantifying foliar chemistry from reflectance spectroscopy.
